Filmatick is smart enough to know which character is speaking and will place each actor’s dialog on their track in the Timeline.
To use Auto Placement of Dialog.
Click on the icon in the timeline.
A Place dialog module will appear
Left Click on the Scene Dropdown to select the scene(s) that you want to place dialog.
Click confirm.

Dialog may only be placed in scenes which don’t have dialog in the timeline. If a scene does have dialog, the Scene dropdown menu will have that scene greyed out.
