Imported Models
The user can import a variety of models from other software packages. Bear in mind, the scale may be very different when importing them. You may have to scale down or up the model in order to use it in the set/scene/shot.
Once a user imports a model, it is always stored in this folder. Filmatick can import a variety of models:project and can be used in other sets/scenes/shots.
How to import a model
Click on the Import Model Icon
A Window will pop up, prompting the user to navigate to where the model is located.
Click on the location to where the model is.
Click on the model name
Click Open.
A Model Import Window will open. Filmatick will create a thumbnail of the object. You can rename the object in this window if you wish.
Click Import to finish the import
OR Click Cancel to cancel the import

The thumbnail may be very small or very large depending on the scale of the object from the software package it was created in. |
The object is now in the Explorer window under Imported Models.
To bring in the imported model into a set/scene/shot, simply left click and drag on the image into the set/scene/shot.
