The Outliner is a list of everything that is the current Set, Scene or Shot that you are working on. To open the Outliner TabPanel, click on the tab in the upper left corner of the software (. This will open the panel in Quadrant 1 ). (Hotkey - Alt+8)

On the RIGHT SIDE of the tab panel are the following buttons:

Close - this will close the panel (Hotkey - Alt+8)

The user can also close the Outliner Panel by clicking on the Outliner Tab if it is open. |
Functions of the Outliner
Selecting objects - To select an object, Double-Click on the name. It will select the object in the Set, Scene, or Shot.
Overridden - Only in the Scene or Shot. This means that the user has moved or deleted the object from the scene or shot.
